信頼は、一方通行ではなく共に歩む中でこそ育まれるもの。そう実感するようになったのは、多くのお客様と向き合い続けてきた日々があったからです。私はこれまで、23年近くにわたり営業の現場に身を置いてきました。その中で常に意識していたのは、「自分が何を売りたいか」ではなく、「お客様にとって何がベストなのか」を考え尽くすこと。お客様の声を聞き、同じ方向を見ることで解決策を導き出していく。そんな提案型の営業を大切にしてきました。その積み重ねの中で人と人との信頼が生まれ、社会が少しずつ動いていく手応えを得られたように思います。

2022年に株式会社平庄の代表に就任してからは、仲卸業を通して長年培われてきた知識やノウハウを受け継ぎつつ、そこに自身の経験を融合させることで、事業や企業の可能性をより広げていきたいと考えるようになりました。水産業界においては数少ない女性経営者ではありますが、だからこそ新しい風を吹かせることができるはず。結婚・出産・育児といった人生の節目を経験する中で、暮らしに根ざした視点や、変化を受け入れる柔軟性の大切さを実感してきました。こうした経験もまた、より良い未来を実現していくための力になると考えています。

現在は、自社で工場を持たないファブレスメーカーとして、他社との連携による商品開発や新たな取り組みもスタート。それは、決められた枠にとらわれるのではなく、時代の波を見極めながら、お客様や社会にとって「本当に価値あるもの」を届けていくための挑戦です。今後は、国内はもちろん、海外市場も視野に入れた展開を加速させていきます。しなやかに、そして力強く進化を続けていく株式会社平庄に、ぜひこれからもご期待ください。

Trust is not something that is one-way, but something that is born from working together. We have a wide knowledge gained through interacting with many customers on a daily basis. I have been in sales for nearly 23 years. I always keep in mind "what is best for the customer" rather than "what I want to sell." We listen to our customers' voices and work together to find solutions. We have always valued this type of proposal-based sales. Through accumulated experiences, trust between people was born, and I feel like we are beginning to see society start to move forward slowly.

Since taking over as CEO of Heisho Co., Ltd. in 2022, I have wanted to expand the possibilities of the business and the company by utilizing the knowledge and know-how that has been cultivated over many years through the wholesale business whilst combining it with my own experience. As I am one of the few female CEO's in the seafood industry, I believe that this is exactly why I can bring a breath of fresh air to the industry. As I have experienced life's turning points such as marriage, childbirth, and child-rearing, I have come to realize the importance of a perspective rooted in daily life and the flexibility to accept change. I believe that these experiences will also help us realize a better future.

Currently as a fabless manufacturer without its own factories, we have begun product development and new initiatives in alignment with other companies. The challenge is to deliver "something that is truly valuable" to our customers and society, while discerning the trends of the times, rather than being bound by pre-defined frameworks. Going forward, we will accelerate our expansion, not only in Japan, but also with an eye on overseas markets. Hirasho Co., Ltd. is constantly evolving.
